a story.
Welcome to Palmilla.We were just finishing our own home in The Arbour when the block next door became available. We bought it and started drawing up plans, and once our place was finished, we got straight into building Palmilla.
The house came together over the next six months. The build went like clockwork, though the three big date palms took a little more organising.
We found them at a grower in Uki. Getting the two into the back garden was quite a job, while the one out front had a much easier arrival. These days, they look right at home and give the garden that lovely tropical feel.
Now we get to share Palmilla with you. We hope you’ll find time for a slow morning by the pool or a long lunch outside. It’s your place for a little while, so settle in and make yourself at home.

How do I book a stay?
You can check availability and book on Airbnb. For questions about your stay, email bookings@palmilla.au. An email enquiry does not reserve dates or confirm a booking.
Are pets welcome?
Pets are welcome with prior approval. Please tell us about your pet when you enquire. Pets must stay off indoor furniture and bedding, and you’ll need to bring their bedding and essentials.
What is included in a stay?
Made-up beds, bath and beach towels, Wi-Fi, cooking essentials, laundry facilities and smart TVs are provided. Please bring your own toiletries and streaming-service logins. Let us know about any particular requirements when you enquire.
What should I know before arriving?
Our guest guide covers checking in, what to pack, using the house and checking out, with both brochures available to download. Standard check-in is from 3 pm and checkout is by 11 am. Please keep outdoor noise to a minimum after 10 pm. Additional visitors and events require prior written approval.
Can I book Palmilla for a content shoot?
We welcome enquiries from photographers, filmmakers and brands. Tell us about the project, preferred date, crew size and spaces you need. Access, hours and hire arrangements are discussed and confirmed individually.
